Trump says if Zelenskiy meeting 'works out', one with Putin could come next

Aug 16 (Reuters) - U.S. President Donald Trump said on Saturday that following the summit in Alaska with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy will be coming to the Oval Office in Washington on Monday afternoon.
"If all works out, we will then schedule a meeting with President Putin," Trump said in a Truth Social post.
"The best way to end the horrific war between Russia and Ukraine is to go directly to a Peace Agreement, which would end the war, and not a mere Ceasefire Agreement," he said.
