ANCHORAGE, Alaska Aug 15 (Reuters) - Russian President Vladimir Putin said that Moscow had established good, direct contacts with U.S. President Donald Trump after a difficult period in the relationship between the two countries.
Putin, speaking after talks between the two leaders in Alaska, said Russia was sincerely interested in ending the conflict in Ukraine.
