Chinese vice commerce minister meets executive from Canada's Brookfield

BEIJING, Aug 14 (Reuters) - China's vice commerce minister, Ling Ji, on Thursday met with David Levi, an executive at Canada's Brookfield Asset Management.
Ling said that China welcomes Brookfield to establish renewable energy funds and commit to long-term investment in China, according to a statement released by the commerce ministry.
