Brightstone acquires hospitality insurance program administrator RMS Hospitality Group

- (The Insurer) - U.S. insurance broker Highstreet subsidiary Brightstone Specialty Group has acquired hospitality industry-focused program administrator RMS Hospitality Group and its sister company, Fortis Risk Solutions.

The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

RMS HG offers insurance solutions for franchise food (such as quick service, fast food and family/casual style), hospitality (such as live music venues, bars and nightclubs), restaurants (such as free-standing, in-hotel, stadium and country club) and handles claims through its third-party administrator, Fortis Risk Solutions.

"We are thrilled to have the RMS HG and Fortis teams join Brightstone as we continue to build a platform for recognized specialty insurance innovators and leaders who focus on providing tailored services and solutions in our communities throughout the United States," said Scott Goodreau, CEO of Brightstone.

Traverse City, Michigan-based Highstreet launched specialty services and underwriting subsidiary Brightstone in 2024, with the subsidiary “focused on developing solutions that enhance Highstreet's ability to service local communities with personally tailored offerings.”
