Brightstone acquires hospitality insurance program administrator RMS Hospitality Group

Aug 13 - (The Insurer) - U.S. insurance broker Highstreet subsidiary Brightstone Specialty Group has acquired hospitality industry-focused program administrator RMS Hospitality Group and its sister company, Fortis Risk Solutions.

The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

RMS HG offers insurance solutions for franchise food (such as quick service, fast food and family/casual style), hospitality (such as live music venues, bars and nightclubs), restaurants (such as free-standing, in-hotel, stadium and country club) and handles claims through its third-party administrator, Fortis Risk Solutions.

Traverse City, Michigan-based Highstreet launched specialty services and underwriting subsidiary Brightstone in 2024, with the subsidiary “focused on developing solutions that enhance Highstreet's ability to service local communities with personally tailored offerings.”
