China supports Brazil in resisting tariff 'bullying', foreign minister says

BEIJING, Aug 6 (Reuters) - China supports Brazil in resisting the "bullying behaviour" of imposing excessive tariffs, Foreign Minister Wang Yi told Celso Amorim, special advisor to Brazilian president, on Wednesday in a phone call.

China supports Brazil in safeguarding its own rights and opposes "unreasonable" external interference in Brazil's internal affairs, Wang said, without naming the U.S. directly, according to a statement released by his ministry.
