Three workers rescued after being trapped at Newmont's Red Chris mine in Canada

July 25 (Reuters) - Three workers from Hy-Tech Drilling at Newmont's Red Chris mine project were safely brought to the surface following a fall of ground incident, the company said on Friday.
Newmont added that it will conduct a comprehensive investigation into the incident.
The workers were trapped underground at the mine on Wednesday, resulting in suspension of operations at the Red Chris gold and copper mine in British Columbia.
