Trump says US, Philippines very close to finishing trade deal

WASHINGTON, July 22 (Reuters) - U.S. President Donald Trump on Tuesday said the U.S. was close to finalizing a trade agreement with the Philippines.
"We're going to talk about trade today and we are very close to finishing a trade deal, a big trade deal actually," Trump told reporters at the start of a meeting with Philippine President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. at the White House.
