Trump welcomes Philippines leader, says expects trade deal on Tuesday

WASHINGTON, July 22 (Reuters) - U.S. President Donald Trump on Tuesday welcomed Philippine President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. to the White House, saying he thought the two leaders could reach a trade agreement.
Asked if they would reach a trade deal on Tuesday, Trump told reporters: "I think we will.”
