- (The Insurer) - Doxa Insurance Holdings has recruited Sean Curry as executive vice president of its brokerage vertical, with the hire joining from Farmers Insurance’s owned brokerage and internal agencies platform.

In his new role, Doxa said Curry will “work to transition, sustain and evolve our diverse wholesale brokerage capabilities.”

Curry brings more than 16 years of industry experience to Fort Wayne, Indiana-based Doxa, the past seven of which were spent at Farmers’ owned brokerage and internal agencies, a period that included him leading Kraft Lake Insurance Agency, Farmers General Insurance Agency, Western Star Insurance Services and Hawaii Insurance.

His career also includes a short stint at Ohio Insurance Agents Association and almost eight years at Nationwide, latterly as director, commercial E&S and programs for the carrier’s brokerage solutions division.
