Exclusive: Axa XL parts ways with primary construction casualty head McKinley

July 16 - (The Insurer) - Axa XL has parted ways with its primary construction casualty head Mike McKinley, with oversight of primary and excess construction being taken over by Ed Totten, sources familiar with the matter said.
McKinley had been with Axa XL and its predecessor companies for around 14 years, with the executive previously having held roles at both Zurich and Westfield Group.
Philadelphia-based Totten joined XL Capital in 2010 and previously worked at Zurich and AIG.
A spokesperson for Axa XL did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
