Gallagher names Cheek area president for Southern California

July 17 - (The Insurer) - Gallagher has promoted Lauren Witthohn Cheek to area president for Southern California, the broker's executive director for practice group strategies Eric Taylor announced in a LinkedIn post on Wednesday.
In her new role, Cheek will lead the Southern California operations, with a focus on Irvine and San Diego.
Prior to this, she was area senior vice president for more than two years.
She has been with Gallagher for more than five years. Her career also includes stints working for Prudential Financial and Mercer.
