KUALA LUMPUR, July 15 (Reuters) - The nomination of a new U.S. Ambassador to Malaysia has not been brought to Malaysia's cabinet, the government's spokesperson's office said on Tuesday after state media earlier reported it was expected to be discussed by the government.
The government has faced calls by some opposition and Muslim groups to reject President Donald Trump's nomination of Nick Adams, a conservative commentator who has attracted criticism for some of his reported statements on Islam and other topics.
