MEXICO CITY, July 14 (Reuters) - Mexico has done its part in the fight against fentanyl and the U.S. must do its part, Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum said on Monday during her regular morning press conference.
U.S. President Donald Trump on Saturday threatened to impose a 30% tariff on imports from Mexico, saying the country had not done enough to curb drug trafficking.
Sheinbaum said she believes Mexico will reach a deal with Washington by August 1.
