Exclusive: Liberty Company hires Newfront's Naranjo to co-lead new Bay Area office

July 9 - (The Insurer) - The Liberty Company Insurance Brokers has launched Liberty Naranjo, a Northern California, San Franciso Bay Area office led by managing partners and brothers Jonathan Naranjo and Michael Naranjo.
Jonathan Naranjo most recently served as national real estate practice leader at Newfront. Before that, he held roles at Hub International, Navigate Research and Wells Fargo.
In a statement confirming the new office and hire, Liberty said he will oversee property and casualty in the new office.
Michael Naranjo, who has been with Liberty since 2024, will lead employee health and benefits.
“It’s always been a dream to build something meaningful with my brother, and Liberty gives us the platform to do just that,” Jonathan Naranjo said.
“Our father started a boutique insurance firm decades ago and continuing that legacy together is incredibly meaningful."
Backed by Liberty’s platform, Liberty Naranjo will serve as a fully integrated employee benefits and P&C insurance advisory firm with a relationship-first approach to risk management, benefits and client advocacy.
Liberty Company last month announced that it had expanded its national footprint through a partnership with Connecticut-based Berliner-Gelfand & Co and separately had added Will Bradshaw as a producer in Florida.
