ERS promotes Wilson as head of fleet and commercial motor

July 9 - (The Insurer) - Specialist UK motor carrier ERS has named Chris Wilson as head of fleet and commercial motor, bringing the two classes under the same leadership.

Wilson most recently served as head of fleet, having joined ERS in 2014 from Aviva.

His newly added commercial motor responsibilities include transportation, courier, specialist commercial vehicle, taxi, minibus, and coach and bus.

Wilson's promotion follows a series of other internal promotions at ERS, including Martin Hall as managing director last month.

At the same time, Scott Tillbrook was named active underwriter of Syndicate 218. He was succeeded in his prior role as head of bespoke personal lines and agriculture by Annie Ward.
