News of SEBI actions comes as half a dozen global trading firms, from Citadel Securities and IMC Trading to Millennium and Optiver, ratchet up presence in India's booming derivatives markets

"We've already seen average premium turnover on NSE and BSE come down 17% and 13%, respectively, in June when SEBI began probing Jane Street," said Amit Chandra, vice president at HDFC Securities
