Markel promotes Marshall to head of ILS

June 27 - (The Insurer) - Markel has promoted Bermuda-based Nikki-Lynn Marshall to head of insurance-linked securities (ILS).
Marshall assumes her new role after just six months as senior director of strategic transactions. She first joined the company in 2022 as director of underwriting.
Earlier in her career, Marshall held roles at Stable, Hudson Structured Capital Management, Cedent and Opus Financial Partners.
