Ascot promotes O’Hara to deputy CUO, US financial and professional lines

June 27 - (The Insurer) - Ascot has appointed Tracy O’Hara as deputy chief underwriting officer for U.S. financial and professional lines, reporting to Jesse Paulson, Ascot U.S. chief underwriting officer.
O’Hara joined Ascot in 2019 as a senior vice president for cyber and professional liability.
She previously spent three years as vice president and E&O regional underwriting manager at Axis Capital. Earlier in her career, she spent 16 years at Chubb in various roles.
In her newly created role, O’Hara will collaborate with business leaders to plan and execute underwriting strategies, governance, and risk selection, aimed at driving growth across Ascot's financial lines business.
