Arch Insurance UK names McGrady liability underwriting manager

June 17 - (The Insurer) - Arch Insurance's UK regional division has promoted Mark McGrady to liability underwriting manager, effective immediately.
Arch said in a statement on Tuesday that McGrady will oversee underwriting activities across the product-led liability portfolio for the UK regional business.
The unit provides commercial package and standalone policies for a broad range of complex risks in areas including consumer products, emerging risks, research and development and prototyping, renewable energy and U.S. exports.
McGrady reports to Stuart Danskin, director of underwriting, UK regional division, and brings more than 15 years of underwriting experience to the role.
Most recently, he was a senior commercial combined underwriter at Arch, having joined the company in 2022. Prior to that, he held underwriting roles at Chapman and Stacey, LV= and Aviva.
