EU foreign policy chief calls on parties to exercise restraint in Middle East
BRUSSELS, June 13 (Reuters) - European Union foreign policy chief Kaja Kallas said on Friday that the situation in the Middle East is dangerous and called for restraint.
“The situation in the Middle East is dangerous," Kallas said.
"I urge all parties to exercise restraint and prevent further escalation," she said, adding that "diplomacy remains the best path forward, and I stand ready to support any diplomatic efforts toward de-escalation".
