Top US general for Middle East postpones testimony with lawmakers due to regional tensions, officials say
WASHINGTON, June 11 (Reuters) - The head of U.S. forces in Middle East has postponed testimony before U.S. lawmakers that he was set to give on Thursday because of tensions in the Middle East, two U.S. officials said.
U.S. Army General Michael "Erik" Kurilla, the head of U.S. Central Command, was set to testify in front of the Senate Armed Services Committee on Thursday.
U.S. Central Command did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
