Los Angeles Mayor Bass: 'I want to speak to the President'

LOS ANGELES, June 11 (Reuters) - Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass said Wednesday that she wants to speak with President Donald Trump following days of anti-ICE protests in the city and the deployment of military and National Guard troops.
"I want him to understand the significance of what is happening here," Bass said during a press conference.
