Howden grows in Peru with Innova Re acquisition

June 9 - (The Insurer) - Howden has strengthened its position in the Peruvian market through the acquisition of reinsurance broker Innova Re, the company announced on Monday.
The broker said the acquisition was a step in Howden Peru's growth strategy and reflected its broader ambitiions across Latin America.
Innova Re was established in 2017 and is led by its founder and CEO, Juan Diego Cadarso. Howden said it is the fourth largest reinsurance broker in Peru.
Howden's CEO for international growth markets, Sonia Caamaño, said that Cadarso would now become CEO of Howden Re Peru.
