June 4 (Reuters) - U.S. Trade Representative Jamieson Greer said his meeting with European Union trade commissioner Maros Sefcovic in Paris on Wednesday was very constructive and that he observed a willingness by the EU to work with the Trump administration on tariffs.
“Today's meeting in Paris, which occurred alongside technical talks by our teams in Washington, was very constructive and indicates a willingness by the EU to work with us to find a concrete way forward to achieve reciprocal trade," Greer said in a statement released by his office.
"I look forward to continued constructive engagement in the coming days and weeks," Greer added.
