
SEOUL, June 3 (Reuters) - South Korean liberal presidential candidate Lee Jae-myung, tipped by exit polls as the winner, said on Tuesday that he would fulfill the duties of the office if the election "goes the way it currently looks".
"I will do my best to fulfill the great responsibilities and duties given to me so as not to contradict the expectations of the Korean people. Thank you," Lee said on live TV outside his home, wearing a bright blue tie, as supporters cheers around him.
