Axa XL names Ivanova to lead international property reinsurance

May 29 - (The Insurer) - Axa XL announced on Thursday that Petya Ivanova has been appointed head of property for international reinsurance, effective July 1.

In her new role, Ivanova will be responsible for overseeing Axa XL's property portfolio across the international region.

With 25 years' experience across P&C and life (re)insurance, Ivanova has worked across various divisions with Axa Group in Paris and New York.

She most recently served as head of mature markets within the group's ceded reinsurance department, where she was responsible for P&C and life (re)insurance strategy and placement for European markets.
