May 28 - MNK Group announced on Wednesday that it has appointed Alex Noorbaccus as group chief risk officer.
In his new role, Noorbaccus will be responsible for accelerating the development of the group’s risk management framework. He will also ensure that there is appropriate oversight and risk calibration across business through formalised and standardised governance practices.
Noorbaccus has two decades of experience in risk management. He has also worked at Lloyd’s, where he helped with the implementation of Solvency II requirements.
Earlier this year, MNK Group unified its broking, MGA, and risk-taking entities across geographies under a single brand.
Under the new brand, Lloyd's broker MNK Re has been renamed to MNK International.
