May 27 - (The Insurer) - Travelers has appointed John Menefee as vice president, enterprise cyber lead, and Lauren Winchester as vice president, cyber risk officer.
Cyber Risk Insurer exclusively reported on April 29 that Tim Francis had resigned as Travelers enterprise cyber lead to join Liberty Mutual as its new North America head of cyber.
In a LinkedIn post announcing the appointment, Travelers said that Menefee as vice president, enterprise cyber lead “will lead all aspects of the cyber product line to offer a clear and consistent vision for Travelers”.
Menefee has worked at Travelers for 17 years, most recently as cyber risk product manager since 2016, according to his LinkedIn profile.
In her role as vice president, cyber risk officer, Winchester will lead a team focused on proactive risk mitigation solutions for policyholders and will help advise Travelers’ underwriters, brokers and policyholders on cybersecurity and incident response.
Winchester joined Travelers at the start of 2024 as part of the Corvus acquisition. She took on the role of head of cyber risk services at Travelers in January this year.
