Exclusive: Miller lines up NorthStandard's Taylor to lead direct P&I

May 23 - (The Insurer) - Miller has hired NorthStandard's Nick Taylor to lead its direct protection and indemnity broking unit, two senior market sources told The Insurer.
One senior market source said Taylor would join Miller in September and report to its head of direct marine Nick Summers.
Taylor was at NorthStandard for four years, most recently serving as head of sector, coastal and inland, and commercial leader, specialty.
His career also includes more than a decade at Charles Taylor, including as underwriting director of its international division.
Miller and NorthStandard declined to comment.
