PARIS, May 21 (Reuters) - The European Union must step up its efforts to ease trade tensions with the administration of U.S. President Donald Trump to negotiate a trade deal and protect European jobs, LVMH CEO and chairman Bernard Arnault said on Wednesday.
"For now, I am under the impression it's not going well," Arnault told French senators during a parliamentary hearing, adding that in his view, the European Union needed to offer concessions and soften its stance towards Washington.
