AIG adds Swiss Re's Colombo as CEO of Latin America and the Caribbean

May 15 - (The Insurer) - AIG has hired Angelo Colombo, former CEO of Latin America at Swiss Re Corporate Solutions, as CEO, AIG Latin America and the Caribbean, effective June 2, subject to regulatory approval.
Colombo will be based in Sao Paolo, Brazil, and report to Jon Hancock, executive vice president and CEO, international commercial insurance and global personal insurance.
He has over 25 years of experience in the industry. Before Swiss Re, he served as the CEO of South America at Allianz Global, and held roles at RSA, Munich Re, and Howden Brasil.
