May 15 - (The Insurer) - K2 Oconus has launched MissionGuard, an insurance solution designed to support U.S. government and non-government contractors abroad, expanding beyond its core Defense Base Act insurance product.
Commenting on the new product, K2 Oconus CEO Chris Leo said: "With the launch of MissionGuard, we are excited to expand the boundaries of what K2 Oconus can offer to U.S. contractors operating internationally.
“Our goal is to provide unmatched flexibility and robust protection, empowering contractors to carry out their missions with confidence and peace of mind, knowing they are backed by superior coverage.”
The new offering includes Defense Base Act insurance, foreign voluntary workers’ compensation insurance, business travel accident insurance, cyber insurance, and domestic workers’ compensation insurance.
K2 Oconus was launched early last year as a division of Warburg Pincus-backed K2 Insurance Services. The MGA was set up to provide workers’ compensation coverage for U.S. government contractors abroad, with Nationwide serving as underwriter.
