Brazil's Petrobras posts 48.6% increase in first-quarter net profit

SAO PAULO, May 12 (Reuters) - Brazilian state-run oil firm Petrobras PETR4.SA posted on Monday a 35.2 billion reais ($6.21 billion) net profit for the first quarter, up 48.6% from a year earlier.
