BERLIN, May 12 (Reuters) - Russia needs to adhere to a truce before any direct peace talks between Russia and Ukraine can take place in Turkey, German Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul said in London on Monday.
"It has been clearly articulated that, initially, there is a truce. Ukraine is ready for that," he said.
"Germany now expects Russia to agree to a ceasefire and then be prepared to negotiate," he added.
