May 12 - (The Insurer) - Aon has extended the contract of Carlo Clavarino, executive chairman for its international business, through to 2029.
Clavarino first took on the role in 2021, at which time he also joined the firm’s operating executive committee.
Previously, Clavarino served as chairman of Aon’s EMEA region, chairman of its Southern Europe region and country manager for Italy.
Aon said Clavarino had played a leading role at the firm since the establishment of its operations in Italy, strengthening the group's risk capital and human capital capabilities and growing the business through acquisitions.
“Carlo is widely recognized and admired as one of the leading advisors to business decision makers around the world and we are grateful that he will continue to serve our clients and our firm with distinction,” said Greg Case, president and CEO of Aon.
“With growing uncertainty and complexity for businesses, Carlo and leaders across our firm are focused on going further, faster to help our clients make better decisions.”
