May 11 (Reuters) - Beijing is eager to re-set trade relations with the United States amid ongoing negotiations to resolve the two countries' trade war, a top White House economic aide said on Sunday.
"It looks like the Chinese are very, very eager to play ball and to re-normalize things," National Economic Council Director Kevin Hassett said on Fox News "Sunday Morning Futures" with Maria Bartiromo.
Hassett also said more trade deal announcements could be imminent following last week's announcement of an agreement with the United Kingdom.
