SAO PAULO, May 8 (Reuters) - Brazilian pulp maker Suzano posted on Thursday a 6.3 billion reais ($1.11 billion) net profit in the first-quarter, multiplying from the 220 million real profit it had in the same period last year.
However, its closely watched core earnings, as measured by the adjusted EBITDA, stood at 4.87 billion reais for the three-month period ended in March, missing the 5.77 billion reais expected by analysts in a LSEG poll.
