Canopius appoints Varghese as head of marine

May 8 - (The Insurer) - Canopius has appointed Neetu Varghese as head of marine, U.S., taking on the role after having served as national cargo manager at the (re)insurer since 2023.
Chicago-based Varghese has over 20 years of experience in the industry. Before joining Canopius in 2023, she held roles at RLI Insurance Company and CNA Insurance.
“Canopius has a unique opportunity to service the continually growing marine risk management marketplace globally and in the U.S.” said Lisa Davis, CEO of Canopius U.S.
