US DHS says it disabled comms app used by Trump adviser after reported hack

WASHINGTON, May 5 (Reuters) - The U.S. Department of Homeland Security said that customs officials immediately disabled the communications app used by a senior Trump adviser following a reported breach.

In a statement, the department said that Customs and Border Protection "immediately disabled TeleMessage as a precautionary measure" following the reported hack. "The investigation into the scope of the breach is ongoing."
