Unilever to invest $400 million in new Mexican factory

MEXICO CITY, May 2 (Reuters) - Consumer goods company Unilever ULVR.L said on Friday that it will invest 8 billion pesos ($407.44 million) in a new factory in the northern Mexican state of Nuevo Leon.
The investment, which was announced at the daily morning press conference of Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum, is expected to create 1,200 new jobs, according to the company.
The factory will specialize in beauty products and personal care.
