Microsoft beats quarterly revenue estimates as AI shift bolsters cloud demand

April 30 (Reuters) - Microsoft MSFT.O topped market estimates for quarterly revenue on Wednesday, boosted by steady demand for its cloud services as businesses ramped up spending on artificial-intelligence tools.
The company said revenue rose 13% to $70.1 billion in its fiscal third quarter, compared with analysts' average estimate of $68.42 billion, according to data compiled by LSEG.
