Multiple injuries reported in Florida boat crash, local officials tell media

April 27 (Reuters) - Multiple injuries were reported in Florida's Clearwater city after a boat crash near the city's Memorial Causeway Bridge on Sunday evening, local officials told media.
The City of Clearwater said police and fire services were at the scene, according to an ABC News affiliate.
The cause of the crash and the number of people injured were not immediately known.
An NBC News affiliate cited an alert from the city of Clearwater saying the crash happened late at night just west of the bridge.
