Health insurer Elevance sees first-quarter profit above estimates
April 17 (Reuters) - Elevance Health ELV.N said on Thursday it expects first-quarter profit above estimates, helped by medical cost trends that were in line with its expectations.
The company forecast first-quarter adjusted profit of $11.97 per share, compared with analysts' average estimate of $11.37 per share, according to data compiled by LSEG.
Elevance will release its full results for the quarter on April 22.
