MSIG USA promotes Harwell to national marine cargo manager as Evans retires

April 10 - (The Insurer) - MSIG USA has promoted Connie Harwell to national marine cargo manager, replacing Kathleen Evans, who will retire in April after seven years at the company.
Harwell was previously senior vice president of marine underwriting in the West zone and has been with MSIG USA since 2020. She has held roles at CNA Insurance, Expeditors and Morgan Stanley.
Evans, who has served as the national marine cargo manager at MSIG USA since May 2024, has nearly 40 years of experience in the insurance industry. Before MSIG USA, she held roles at CNA Insurance, Tokio Marine, Kemper and more.
"We are confident that this transition will be seamless, and our marine partners can continue to expect the same outstanding service from MSIG USA," MSIG USA said in a LinkedIn post.
