ECB's Holzmann sees no reason to change view on rates over tariffs
VIENNA, April 8 (Reuters) - European Central Bank policymaker Robert Holzmann, who told Reuters last week there was no reason to cut interest rates further, said on Tuesday U.S. President Donald Trump's announcement of universal tariffs did not change his view.
"I see no reason to deviate from a prior announcement there on interest rates but I'm willing to wait and to learn and change my opinion. For the time being, I don't see a reason why I should change my opinion," Holzmann told a news conference.
