CORRECTED-Quick, Ralf & Grant hires Gattinger in European growth push

April 8 - (The Insurer) - Lloyd’s broker Quick, Ralf & Grant has appointed Dennis Gattinger as head of Europe, effective immediately.
In a statement on Tuesday, QRG said Gattinger will be based in Barcelona and report to CEO Robert Ralf.
He has joined the firm from Alta Signa, a specialist MGA focused on Europe, where he was head of distribution. Earlier in his career, Gattinger worked at ANV and Liberty Mutual Insurance Europe, which is now known as Liberty Specialty Markets.
Named after its founders Dominic Quick, Robert Ralf and Lance Grant, QRG is a specialist broker headquartered in London, with a presence in Greece, Spain and Australia.
Alongside its broking business, QRG also operates an MGA incubation platform.
QRG said in the statement that it plans “expansion into further territories” as part of its growth push following a relaunch of its brand earlier this month and its move to a new headquarters, which it completed last week.
