South Korea to monitor how others respond to tariffs to guide US negotiations

SEOUL, April 8 (Reuters) - South Korea will monitor how other countries respond to U.S. tariffs and take this into account as it prepares an "optimal" negotiation strategy, the finance minister said on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, the government will prepare support measures for sectors that might be hit by U.S. tariffs in a swift manner, Minister Choi Sang-mok said at a meeting with trade experts.
