Hapag-Lloyd expects to go around Africa until the end of the year

BERLIN, April 3 (Reuters) - German container shipping group Hapag-Lloyd HLAG.DE said on Thursday it expects to route ships around Africa's Cape of Good Hope until the end of this year because of the security situation in the Red Sea.
Hapag's CEO Rolf Habben Jansen said in a customer call that this was the group's "base scenario".
