Spanish foreign minister, US Rubio discuss security, trade in call
MADRID, April 2 (Reuters) - Spanish Foreign Minister Jose Manuel Albares had an "excellent conversation" with U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio on Wednesday, discussing bilateral relationship, trade and security, Albares said in a post on social media platform X.
Their telephone conversation came just a few hours ahead of what President Donald Trump is calling his "liberation day" tariffs announcement. No other details were available.
