Alibaba chairman says China business more confident since Xi's tech summit

HONG KONG, March 25 (Reuters) - Alibaba Group 9988.HK Chairman Joe Tsai said on Tuesday there were clear signs China's business entrepreneurs were more confident following a tech summit led by President Xi Jinping.

Tsai told HSBC'S Global Investment Summit in Hong Kong that sentiment was now higher in China's private business sector.

He said Alibaba planned to begin re-hiring after reaching the bottom of the business cycle.
